Transtech’s Cal Poly Pomona 2020 Scholarships Awarded!
Congratulations to the award recipients of the 2020 Transtech Engineers Scholarship Program! As the 2020 Fall Semester at Cal Poly Pomona rolled out, five students were awarded $3,000 each from our annual Transtech Engineers Scholarship Program. We partnered with Cal Poly Pomona to start this annual scholarship with the Civil Engineering Program at the University. This is the second class of students who have been awarded this scholarship. Congratulations to the 2020 Transtech Engineers Scholarship Award Recipients, Civil Engineering students: Christopher Rodriguez-Ruiz, Melina Rezvan, Matthew Jacobson, Na Lee, and Daniel Romero! Our scholarship program is annually given to five students in the Civil Engineering Department who have a 3.0 GPA or higher and have completed at least 2 years of their major. We believe in the importance of STEM careers and have many team members who attended Cal Poly Pomona. If you or someone you know is currently in the Civil Engineering Program at Cal Poly Pomona and is interested to learn more about the scholarship let us know at info@transtech.org!

Transtech’s First Responders Appreciation Initiative Continues!
We are continuing our mission of giving through our First Responders Appreciation Initiative. In response to the global pandemic and the many challenges local businesses experienced, the Transtech Engineers team developed and implemented a unique First Responders Appreciation Initiative that collaborates with local Chambers, supports local restaurants, and appreciates our community’s First Responders. The Transtech team personally picks up the meal orders and delivers them to our First Responders. So far to date, we are proud to share that Transtech’s First Responders Appreciation Initiative has provided over 350 meals and beverages from 13 local restaurants in 8 cities serving 6 Police/Sheriff Stations and 13 Fire Stations. We have several more stops scheduled!

Transtech Joins the City of Rosemead for their 7th Annual Back-to-School Resource Fair!
Transtech was honored to volunteer and join the City of Rosemead for their 7th Annual Back-to-School Resource Fair Fundraiser! This fundraiser helps support the educational success of Rosemead’s students by providing a backpack with necessary supplies to succeed this school year and advance to a brighter future! The funds raised went towards the purchase of school supplies and backpacks for 500 Rosemead students (TK through 12th grade) attending Rosemead and San Gabriel High Schools and schools in the Garvey and Rosemead School Districts!
Transtech Volunteers at the Feed Alhambra: Drive-Through Food Distribution!
It was our honor to volunteer and support the City of Alhambra’s “Feed Alhambra Drive-Through Food Distribution.” This event helped donate food to over 1,000 families! It was our pleasure to be able to be part of such a worthy and needed cause during this challenging year. Volunteers passed out food, diapers, and masks to families in need during the event. The event was organized by the Alhambra Teachers Association.
Transtech Attends the League of California Cities’ 2020 Virtual Conference & Expo!
The League of California Cities hosted their first-ever VIRTUAL Conference and Expo! We are proud League Partners, and this was Transtech’s 13th year participating at the annual conference. This year was a new and exciting experience for all of us. The virtual conference was packed with inspiring speakers, panels, breakout sessions, peer-to-peer sharing, and celebrations. Even though this year’s expo was not in-person, we were still able to meet and greet attendees over a live chat and answer questions.
Congratulations to the Transtech Team for the Years of Service Awards!

Transtech’s Virtual Holiday Party!
Transtech has a long tradition of hosting a Sunday Holiday Brunch to honor and thank our valuable Transtech Team Members. Although this year we could not host it in person, nothing could stop us from celebrating virtually! We had a great turn out at our Virtual Holiday Party with lots of raffle prizes and surprises! Thank you to our wonderful Transtech Team for all your hard work and dedication this past year!
