The Atlantic Boulevard Corridor Improvement Project, in which Transtech Engineers provided construction management services, was recognized with the 2020 Project of the Year Award from the Southern California Chapter of the American Public Works Association (APWA). The project won the award under the Transportation Category. The project included major street reconstruction and beautification along Atlantic Boulevard, which improved mobility for pedestrians, trucks, and vehicles and provided corridor beautification with landscaped medians and other elements. Roadway engineering, construction, and landscape architecture were combined to create a safe, convenient network that establishes the community as a healthy and vibrant place.
