Project Spotlight – Rosemead Blvd Beautification & Safety Enhancement

We are highlighting the Rosemead Boulevard Beautification and Safety Enhancement Project! Transtech provided Construction Management and Construction Inspection Services, serving as the Resident Engineer, Inspector, & Office Engineer for the project. This project was an approximately $20M project which transformed the 2-mile corridor to a multi-use active transportation corridor for pedestrians, bicyclists, and vehicles, with a protected cycle track. Each fall, the CALBO Training Institute hosts Education Weeks throughout the golden state to provide continuing education for California Building Departments across the state. The Transtech Engineers Team attended the Atlantic Boulevard Project Groundbreaking Ceremony on April 20th, 2019.  The Atlantic Boulevard Corridor Improvement Project is a major street reconstruction and beautification project along Atlantic Boulevard from Washington Boulevard at the southern limit to Stevens Place at the northern limit that will improve safety and mobility, while bringing beautification through enhanced landscape and streetscape along the corridor.
