Transtech team members, Jana Robbins and Karen Vigil, attended the 2019 ITE Western District Annual Meeting during the summer in the City of Monterey! The Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) is a professional society of more than 15,000 transportation engineers, planners, and other professionals that is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of people on the streets, highways, and transit systems. Our team attends this event every year to gain industry knowledge. By attending the seminars and exchanging opinions, ideas, techniques, and research on the current trends in active transportation, new development of traffic engineering standards, and recommended practice procedures, our team can better support our Clients.
